I began building mounts in 2016 while working at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. The eclectic nature of the Ringling collection gave me the opportunity to hone my skills building mounts for a wide variety of objects- everything from ancient Cypriot artifacts to items from the Ringling Circus.

Every mount is a unique puzzle. The ultimate goal, however, is universal- create an elegant way to display an object while keeping it secure. In a successful mount, the viewer should be so focused on the object that they hardly notice the mount. I enjoy the challenge and creativity involved in this niche craft.
